Lullabies and Laughter

SUMMER 2023 -  REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Lullabies and Laughter is an in-person group designed to help caregivers learn how to use music with their infants, age 0-2, to promote their development.
 
This will be an inclusive group for one or two caregivers and their infant to attend together, designed by a Music Therapist to meet developmental milestones within the 0-2 age range, regardless of developmental disabilities or complex medical backgrounds. This group will provide a space to try new things and use something your baby’s brain already finds fun to do some fundamental brain work.
 
This group is ideal for (but not limited to):
Babies with developmental delays
Typically functioning babies
Babies with physical disabilities
Babies with complex medical backgrounds
Moms who is experiencing post-partum depression  

We will use music to help start building neural pathways in your baby’s brain. The infant brain is full of billions of neurons that will connect and form pathways during this formative time. We can use music, movement, and fun to help these pathways form and grow strong.
 
The Music Therapist will foster a safe and inclusive environment in the group and the experience will be easy to transfer to your home life. We can start to build up your babies’ brains together with joy, music, movement, bonding, and of course some laughter!

Two group times to choose from:
9:30 - 10:00 am or 3:30 - 4:00 pm

Scholarships available if financial assistance is needed.
